Dr. Peters received the most prestigious cosmopolitan education; a post-graduate medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, internships and fellowships at  Cornell Medical Center, New York, Harvard School of Public Health, and Ospedali Galliera, Genoa, Italy.

Born on the English-speaking island of Tobago, her education and activities have taken her to Canada, Europe, and the United States.
Dr. Peters is an accomplished artist and has exhibited and sold her works nationally and abroad.

A proud former major of the United States Air Force, she served as a Flight Surgeon with the U2 Reconnaissance Squadron in California and around the world. Among her medals earned was the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for her heroic and outstanding service.
